Warmest wishes to my fellow Iranians and all others across the world who are gathering with loved ones tonight to celebrate #Yalda—the Winter Solstice. May our planet soon witness the beauty of peace and empathy—and less coercion and hypocrisy. یلدا مبارک

Happy #Yalda (winter solstice). An ancient occasion tocelebrate the birth of light and the end of dominance of darkness. People stay wake all the night to be sure that the longest night of year ends and the sun rises again. The darkness will end, no matter how long it takes.
